Job summary

RTX in Huntsville, Alabama is seeking a Test Equipment Software Lead to design, develop, and maintain software for factory and production environments.

You will build applications in C++, C#, and Java within Visual Studio on Windows, lead software teams, and mentor engineers while delivering robust test solutions for missile system products. This 100% onsite role offers relocation assistance and requires a DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with extensive software experience.
• Experience in Windows OS and Visual Studio environments.
• Experience with C++, C#, Java, Python or Visual Basic.
• Background in test equipment or automation is a plus.
• Ability to obtain/maintain U.S. government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development and integration of software for factory/test environments.
• Develop applications and instrument drivers in C++, C#, and related tools.
• Prioritize multiple software tasks and mentor junior engineers.
• Troubleshoot software and test instrumentation in CFTP solutions.
• Drive consistency across multiple product software teams.
