Packsize is hiring a Technical Support Engineer (Onsite) for our Louisville, KY or Salt Lake City, UT offices. You’ll support North American customers, troubleshoot issues, and guide on-site technicians.

A strong IT background, problem-solving skills, and customer focus are required; Spanish is a plus, and training on our equipment is provided. Expect a dynamic, high-tech environment in a production setting.

Qualifikationen

• BS/BA in related discipline is strongly preferred.
• Spanish speaking is a plus.
• Networking or IT support experience a plus.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience.
• Experience in diagnosing, solving, and implementing solutions to technical issues.
• Experience in high-level remote troubleshooting.

Aufgaben

• Answer inbound support calls and collaborate with customers to resolve issues.
• Determines whether calls can be resolved over the phone or if they must be fixed on-site by a field service engineer.
• Builds and maintains a solutions database for troubleshooting and field service use.
• Functions as a resource to field service engineers in their job functions.
• Identify and diagnose problems with little information.
• Problem-solving tasks include hardware/software issues and reinstalling software.
• Enhance the customer’s experience by recognizing needs and providing solutions.
• Train customers to operate machinery and implement lean principles.
• Communicate effectively and record activities in the CRM system.
• Update online dashboards and data flow for reporting.
