Job summary

Atlas Copco is seeking a Technical Site Lead to act as the primary on-site technical resource for Woodward Inc. in Rockford, IL. You will diagnose complex issues, lead troubleshooting, and drive continuous improvement to maximize equipment uptime and process reliability.

The role is hands-on with no direct reports and requires close collaboration with customer production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams. On-site daily at Woodward Inc., Rockford facility.

Qualifications

• Hands-on technical leader with strong mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Experience performing root-cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Excellent customer-facing communication and relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and process issues on site.
• Lead root-cause investigations to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
• Provide hands-on maintenance, calibrations, and validations per quality standards.
• Prepare technical reports and recommendations for improvement.
• Coordinate with customer teams to plan onsite service activities.
