Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker is seeking an Technical Operations Manager to lead onsite service operations across the US, guiding technicians and resolving complex software, hardware, and device environments. You will manage escalations, deployments, and customer satisfaction while traveling to multiple locations up to 30%.

You will collaborate with engineering, product, sales, and marketing to improve service offerings and support revenue growth, ensuring consistent processes and strong performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in technical management or a related field.
• Knowledge of technical support operations, including troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.
• Proven expertise in personnel and team management.
• Familiarity with SQL and its use in supporting service operations, troubleshooting, and technical data review.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee onsite technical service technicians across multiple customer locations.
• Serve as primary escalation point for technical service issues and operational challenges.
• Conduct problem analyses and root‑cause investigations to resolve issues quickly.
• Regularly communicate with customers regarding program health, risks, and requirements.
• Track service calls and resolutions to ensure timely outcomes.
• Oversee deployment of devices, upgrades, and related initiatives to ensure successful implementations.
