Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker is seeking a Construction Business Development Manager to be remote/field-based with 60% travel. You will support new product commercialization, plan launches across multiple strategic units, and lead segment-specific marketing initiatives.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve end-user issues, set roadmaps, and educate the salesforce on new products while driving growth and a customer-centric strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required (Business Management or Engineering preferred).
• 10+ years in sales, marketing or related field.
• Ability to build relationships and influence owners to drive strategy.
• Skilled at aligning a team to a strategic plan and holding oneself accountable.

Responsibilities

• Support New Product Commercialization.
• Plan and oversee new product launches across SBDs multiple strategic business units.
• Lead and execute comprehensive segment specific marketing/development plan.
• Develop demand and sales by investigating and resolving customer problems, recommend modifications to the product line, and coordinate Salesforce with appropriate personnel.
• Work with cross-functional team to establish deadlines and new product roadmaps.
• Drive for simplified, effective procedures when launching new product and identify opportunities to drive growth.
• Educate and communicate to the salesforce on new product.
• Develop marketing vision, strategies, and tactics, including long-range plans and actions.
