Job summary

Epiroc is seeking a Tear-Down Disassembler in Garland, TX to perform disassembly operations on drilling rigs and equipment following safety guidelines. Onsite role with a 7:30AM – 3:30PM shift and involvement in moving and preparing components for the next production step.

The role requires knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical systems and lifting operations. Safety-conscious team member with ability to work independently or in a team is valued. Training to occur as needed.

Qualifications

• Reads, writes and understands English.
• Knowledge of mechanical components and systems.
• Knowledge of hydraulic components and systems.
• Knowledge of electrical components and systems.
• Knowledge of safe rigging and crane operation.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble/remove mechanical and hydraulic components and systems for the Production process.
• Transport disassembled components to the next Production step.
• Rigging and lifting using a crane.
• Address quality defects per Production process.
• Move rigs and towers between locations following procedures.
