Job summary

Epiroc is hiring an Assembler Welder in Garland, TX. You will perform welding and assembly on drilling rigs, following blueprints and quality standards. Strong attention to safety and the ability to work from technical drawings are essential.

The role operates on B shift (Fri–Sun; 6am–4:30pm) onsite. Candidates should have 2+ years welding experience and a high school diploma or GED, with a welding certificate preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Welding School Certificate preferred.
• 2+ years of welding experience.
• Knowledge of welding principles, weld drawings, and safe welding practices.
• Able to read blueprints, schematics, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Weld components using blueprints.
• Plan and lay out work from blueprints, drawings, or other specifications.
• Install and connect hydraulic controls, pumps, and system elements.
• Mount engines, gear boxes, axles and other power components.
• Maintain cleanliness of the area and perform 5S activities.
• Follow safety regulations and report safety risks.
