Job summary

Epiroc is seeking a Lead Person to support assembly operations in Garland, TX. You will guide shop personnel, plan procedures using blueprints, and ensure timely completion of assignments under the Production Supervisor's direction.

Responsibilities include material checks, parts availability, troubleshooting, and maintaining quality and safety on the shop floor. Prior leadership and blueprint-reading skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

Must be able to read, write and comprehend English.
Experience leading shop personnel and training new hires.
Ability to plan assembly procedures using blueprints and BOMs.

Responsibilities

Plan assembly procedures using blueprints.
Check availability of parts, components, and materials.
Follow-up on shortages or faulty parts.
Assemble parts and components in proper sequence.
Test and troubleshoot assemblies for proper operation before release to test pad.
Motivate employees and assist in assigning duties.
Order BoM and blueprints.
Maintain cleanliness of the assembly area.
Report defects and safety issues to supervisor.
