Job summary

Epiroc is seeking an Assembly Welder for our Garland, TX facility. This onsite role requires reading blueprints, welding components, and assembling hydraulic and power systems per specifications. You will maintain a clean workspace and report defects to supervision, with safety as a priority.

Six months to a year training period, with potential progression in a growing manufacturing environment. HS diploma or GED required; prior welding experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must pass welding test and read blueprints.
• Two years minimum as a welder preferred.
• Experience reading blueprints and applying welding standards.

Responsibilities

• Weld components using blueprints.
• Plan and lay out work from drawings or specifications.
• Install and connect hydraulic controls, pumps, rams, and other system elements.
• Mount, hook-up and connect engines, gear boxes, axles and other power components.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the assembly area.
• Detect and report defective materials, faulty operation, and unusual conditions to supervisor.
