Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks TurboTax - Retail Experts to work on-site at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations in the United States.

You will provide full-service tax preparation, tax advice, and software support to in-person customers, using your tax expertise to tailor solutions for each client. You will grow TurboTax’s client base in the local community, build long-term relationships, and leverage marketing support to create a thriving practice.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience and deep tax knowledge.
• Active PTIN as required to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state individual 1040 tax returns per season using professional software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail/flagship location, Sunday–Saturday, minimum 20 hours per week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax content per Intuit policies.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Willing to wear a TurboTax uniform and work in a front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Be a proactive community ambassador, representing TurboTax locally and engaging with new prospects to convert them into long-term clients.
• Lead and participate in local marketing initiatives with TurboTax support to make taxes approachable.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax customers, handling simple to complex situations.
• Perform discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, maximize refunds, and offer future planning.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professionalism and genuine interest in clients’ financial goals.
• Build trust to convert transactions into long-term relationships, interacting in-person and via Intuit video tools.
• Address client inquiries and help them overcome tax-related challenges.
