Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax - Local Service Experts to provide hands-on tax advice and complete tax preparation for clients at TurboTax locations across the United States. You will work onsite with a collaborative team of financial professionals, addressing personal and business tax needs and expanding the local client base.

You will partner with a broader team covering bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, and advisory services, ensuring end-to-end support and year-round client engagement.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state individual 1040 returns per tax season using professional tax software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training from Intuit.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office during 20+ hours/week, 8:00–17:00 local time, Mon–Fri.
• Willing to complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and use your name/picture for advertising.
• Interested in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Act as a proactive community ambassador to grow local TurboTax client base.
• Connect clients with Intuit ecosystem solutions (bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, Credit Karma).
• Build relationships to turn transactions into long-term client loyalty.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience across in-person and virtual interactions.
