Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax Local Service Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax location in the United States, serving in-person and virtual clients with tax preparation and advisory services.

You'll connect customers with a broader team of specialists, build local relationships, and drive community growth while delivering a seamless end-to-end TurboTax experience. The role emphasizes onsite presence, ongoing training, and the opportunity to expand services like bookkeeping and payroll.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including, but not limited to, compliance training, proficiency-based up-skilling, cross-training of other products or offerings, and professional development.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms. Must be willing to use your name, picture for advertising on goggle.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax-related content and resources for your community in accordance with Intuit’s policies
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise - Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations (e.g., personal and business income, deductions optimization, amendments).
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - Act as a local growth driver, identifying prospects through outreach, grassroots marketing, referrals and partnerships.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem - Connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma as appropriate.
• Build Relationships - Develop long-term trust and relationships with clients.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience - Ensure professional, empathetic service and guidance across in-person and virtual interactions.
