Job summary

Intuit Inc. in the United States seeks a TurboTax Local Service Expert to provide hands-on tax advice, meet clients onsite at a TurboTax location, and coordinate with specialists across tax, bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services.

You will build local client relationships, grow the TurboTax footprint in your community, and deliver a best-in-class customer experience through in-person and virtual interactions, while staying compliant and professional.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA or practicing attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• 3+ years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season using professional software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional services with training from Intuit.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday, for at least 20 hours/week.
• Must complete training and development as determined by the business.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and use your name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online TurboTax presence; creating tax-related content.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise — hands-on tax advice and preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador — grow local client base through outreach and partnerships.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem — connect clients to bookkeeping, payroll, planning, or Credit Karma.
• Build Relationships — develop long-term trust with clients in-person and online.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience — ensure professional service and client satisfaction.
