Job summary

Intuit seeks TurboTax Local Service Experts to work on-site at local TurboTax locations, delivering hands-on tax preparation and tailored advisory services. You will collaborate with a team of tax professionals to ensure an end-to-end Intuit experience and contribute to building a trusted local presence.

You will help clients with diverse tax needs, connect them to Intuit ecosystem offerings, and drive growth through community engagement and personalized service.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorney with tax prep exp & tax laws knowledge.
• Active PTIN to file taxes.
• 3+ years preparing 1040s (30+ returns) with software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill to additional services with training.
• Onsite role, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, 20+ hours/week.
• Training and cross-training as required.
• Uniforms provided; name/photo used for advertising.
• Interested in local and online social presence.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, including simple to complex scenarios.
• Identify deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future planning guidance.
• Grow local client base through outreach, grass-roots marketing, referrals, and events.
• Connect clients to bookkeeping, payroll, planning, or other Intuit services.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience in-person and via video tools.
• Address client inquiries and assist with tax-related challenges.
