Intuit is hiring TurboTax Local Service Experts to provide hands-on tax preparation, expert advice, and software support at local TurboTax locations across the United States. You will work onsite, help grow the client base, and connect customers with Intuit’s ecosystem for ongoing year-round engagement.

You’ll collaborate with tax professionals to deliver a seamless, end-to-end experience, addressing personal and business tax needs, planning, and potential services beyond filing.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including, but not limited to, compliance training, proficiency‑based up‑skilling, cross‑training of other products or offerings, and professional development.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms. Must be willing to use your name, picture for advertising on goggle.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax‑related content and resources for your community in accordance with Intuit’s policies
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations (e.g., personal and business income, deductions optimization, amendments).
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Grow TurboTax’s local client base through outreach, networking, and community partnerships.
• Build relationships and connect clients with the Intuit ecosystem of bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professional service and clear guidance.
