Job summary

Intuit is seeking highly motivated TurboTax Local Service Experts to join our on-site teams at TurboTax locations across the United States. You will provide full-service tax preparation and expert advice, working with a network of specialists to deliver a seamless client experience.

You will engage with local communities, grow your client base, and represent Intuit in ongoing marketing and education initiatives, with a focus on exceptional service and year-round support.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season using professional tax preparation software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Onsite at a TurboTax office location, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, for at least 20 hours/week; hours may scale up during peak periods.
• Must complete all required training and development; training requirements may change.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and use your name for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax expertise and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Act as a proactive community ambassador, growing local client base and representing TurboTax in community events.
• Develop relationships to connect clients with Intuit ecosystem (bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning).
• Build long-term client relationships and deliver a best-in-class customer experience.
• Interact with clients in person and via Intuit video tools to address inquiries and overcome tax challenges.
