Job summary

Intuit is hiring TurboTax Local Service Experts to provide hands-on tax preparation and personalized guidance at a TurboTax location in the United States. Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas (e.g., bookkeeping, payroll, business tax advisory) with training provided by Intuit
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise – Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations (e.g., personal and business income, deductions optimization, amendments).
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador – actively build and grow a new local customer base for TurboTax through outreach, grass-roots marketing, referrals, and partnerships.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem – connect clients with Intuit solutions such as bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma for year-round support.
• Build Relationships – develop long-term trust with clients to turn transactions into ongoing relationships.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience – provide professional, personalized service and leverage video tools for client interactions.
