Job summary

Intuit seeks TurboTax - Local Service Experts to provide on-site tax preparation and advisory services. You will engage with clients face-to-face and virtually, applying tax expertise across personal and business scenarios while collaborating with specialists.

You’ll grow local client base and deliver end-to-end Intuit solutions. Role emphasizes community presence, relationship-building, and high-quality customer experiences within TurboTax locations in the United States.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms and allow advertising with your name.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Own local market growth through outreach, grass-roots marketing, referrals and community partnerships.
• Build long-term relationships by understanding clients’ complete financial picture and guiding them to Intuit solutions.
• Deliver best-in-class customer experience in-person and via Intuit video tools.
