Job summary

Intuit Inc. seeks TurboTax Retail Experts to assist customers in-person at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States.

You will provide full-service tax return preparation, tax advice, and software support, serving as a trusted advisor to help clients achieve positive financial outcomes. You will grow TurboTax’s local client base, attract new customers, and build long-term relationships, while collaborating with the TurboTax network and marketing resources.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Must possess or obtain state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 tax returns per tax season.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willingness to work onsite at a TurboTax location, Sundays-Saturdays, for 20+ hours per week.
• Interest in building local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Must wear a TurboTax uniform and work in a front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Be a proactive community ambassador for TurboTax locally.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for customers, handling simple to complex situations.
• Facilitate deductions, planning, and tax reviews with clear, everyday language.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience by showing professionalism and genuine interest in clients' financial goals.
• Interact with customers in-person and via Intuit’s video tools; address inquiries and tax-related challenges.
