Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a TurboTax Local Service Expert to provide on-site tax preparation and expert guidance at a local TurboTax location.

You will work with clients in person and virtually, delivering high-quality tax advice, completing returns, and coordinating with specialists across Intuit services. You will actively grow the local client base, participate in community outreach, and leverage Intuit tools to create a seamless customer experience through year-round support and education.

Qualifications

• EA or CPA or practicing attorney with tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training from Intuit.
• Must work onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, at least 20 hours/week.
• Must complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms and may be used in advertising with consent.
• Interest in building a local and online presence as a TurboTax Expert per company policies.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a proactive community ambassador to build and grow a local customer base.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions such as bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Build relationships to turn transactions into long-term client engagements.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professional service and clear communication.
