Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax Local Service Experts to provide on-site tax preparation and expert guidance at TurboTax locations across the United States. You’ll work with clients in person and virtually, handling straightforward to complex tax situations while coordinating with a team of specialists.

This role emphasizes local growth, community engagement, and end-to-end service, offering opportunities to expand into bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• 3+ years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season using professional tax software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office location, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Mon–Fri, at least 20 hours/week.
• Must complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Must wear Intuit uniform and participate in advertising using your name/picture.
• Interest in building local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Be a proactive community ambassador to grow a local client base with outreach, referrals, and events.
• Champion the Intuit ecosystem by linking clients to bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma.
• Build relationships and deliver a best-in-class customer experience, in person and via Intuit video tools.
