Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Tampa is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee a team handling multiple construction projects for small to mid-size clients. This onsite role focuses on delivering projects on time and within scope.

The role requires leadership, site visits, risk assessment, stakeholder communication, and collaboration across disciplines to achieve project objectives and maintain quality and schedule commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 8 years of relevant experience.
• Licensure as either a Professional Engineer or Registered Architect is desired.
• Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
• Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated information and convey performance expectations.
• Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Highly organized with an inquisitive mindset.
• Advanced math skills for percentages, fractions, and financial calculations.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team responsible for multiple construction projects for small to medium-sized clients.
• Ensure deliverables are completed on time as part of the Construction Management function.
• Conduct periodic site visits to monitor progress and ensure drawings meet specs.
• Prepare risk assessments and project status reports; manage funds release and resources.
• Develop communications with stakeholders; identify and resolve project risks or issues.
• Lead by example and model CBRE RISE values; influence parties to reach agreement.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to meet team and department objectives.
• Identify and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues.
