Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Pittsburgh, PA seeks an Experienced Project Manager to supervise field construction, scheduling, budgeting, and quality. The role involves coordinating with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to deliver on time and within budget.

Responsibilities include leading field staff, implementing safety programs, ensuring permits and insurance are in place, and managing cost control, BIM/Lean adoption, and reporting progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with four years' related training and eight years of building construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of general and subcontract documents, drawings, specifications, construction means, methods and materials.
• Knowledge of construction cost control and basic accounting procedures.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and BIM/Lean technologies.
• Excellent management, leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with owners/architects/engineers for day-to-day construction activities.
• Develop and implement project work schedules identifying the critical path including expediting critical materials and equipment.
• Lead, supervising and developing Turner field staff, including performance appraisals.
• Ensure strict adherence to ethics and compliance requirements.
• Develop and manage the site safety program and ensure subcontractor compliance.
• Manage scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality control and staffing levels.
