Job summary

Prime Electric in Bellevue, WA seeks a seasoned System Administrator to design, implement, and optimize IT infrastructure across office and field operations. You will influence risk posture, uptime, and scalability, supporting leadership with reliable technology solutions.

Key duties include managing LAN/WAN, servers, AD/DHCP/DNS/GPO, VPNs, firewalls, and end-user devices. 5+ years’ experience and US work authorization required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a System Administrator or similar role
• Minimum of five years of enterprise-level networking experience
• Strong knowledge of networking, operating systems, hardware, security best practices, and business continuity
• Proficiency with PowerShell scripting and SQL is preferred
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Manage, support, monitor, secure, and maintain LANs, WANs, network segments, and ISP connectivity across offices and jobsites.
• Install, configure, administer, and maintain servers, cloud services, Windows Server OS, applications, security tools, and enterprise hardware.
• Administer, monitor and maintain AD/DHCP/DNS/GPO services.
• Design, deploy, and support network infrastructure including file servers, VPN gateways, firewalls, and services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues while maintaining security and uptime.
• Administer desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, phones, and peripherals.
• Establish and enforce system standards, policies, and lifecycle management.
• Evaluate technologies, vendors, and solutions based on needs, cost, and risk
• Assess infrastructure risks and mitigation strategies with minimal oversight
• Collaborate with IT teammates on projects and system improvements
