Seitel Systems, LLC is seeking a Systems Administrator (Engineer) to join our Field Services Team in Seattle. This role involves leading the integration of new technologies for clients and providing hands-on support across varied IT environments.

The successful candidate will have at least ten years of experience with Microsoft Enterprise environments, a strong customer-service orientation, and proficiency in various technical tools. The position offers a hybrid work model of 3 days in office and 2 days remote.

Overview

Seitel Systems is seeking a Systems Administrator (Engineer) to join our Field Services Team in Seattle.

Responsibilities

• Lead and help integrate new technologies for multiple clients, maximizing their IT investment.
• Provide hands‑on support across a variety of environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten years' experience with Microsoft Enterprise environments.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation, communication skills, time‑management and multitasking.
• Attention to detail, advanced troubleshooting, and the ability to find solutions using available resources.
• Ongoing technical training is expected.

Required Technical Proficiencies

• Windows Server, Hyper‑V and VMware virtualization platforms.
• Microsoft Azure, Office 365 and Amazon Web Services.
• IP addressing, routing and switching.
• Site‑to‑site VPN and virtual server infrastructures.
• Basic firewall support, anti‑virus/MFA, backup and recovery solutions.
• Active Directory and network monitoring systems.

Optional Technical Proficiencies

• Project management, ConnectWise Manage and ConnectWise Automate.
• SharePoint, SQL Server, certifications: Network+, Security+, MCIPT/MCSE.
• SAN/NAS/DAS methodologies and architectures.

Work Environment

• Hybrid model: 3 days in office (Seattle or client sites) and 2 days remote.
• Prime location in Seattle; local candidates only; driver’s license required for occasional travel.
