Marvin Engineering Co. in Inglewood, CA is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to evaluate suppliers against MEC and customer requirements. You will manage supplier score cards, drive corrective actions, and lead supplier quality initiatives to prevent defects and improve delivery performance.

The role requires 3–8 years in aerospace/defense, GD&T knowledge, and proficiency with Excel and SAP. This is a 100% onsite position with a base salary range of $95,000–$120,000.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
• 3–8 years of aerospace/defense experience.
• GD&T understanding and drawing interpretation.
• Knowledge of AS9100/ANSI/ASME standards.
• MS Excel data analysis and MS Office proficiency.
• Detail oriented with strong teamwork and communication.
• Experience with Quality tools (Cause Map, 5-Why).
• Familiarity with SAP is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Guide Supply Chain and internal teams on quality system requirements.
• Train suppliers on specifications and requirements.
• Maintain supplier score cards and raw data for data-driven decisions.
• Generate weekly metrics to track supplier performance.
• Issue SCARs or Supplier Notifications and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain SCAR process with closed-loop RCCA.
• Manage Approved Supplier List per MEC policies.
• Improve supplier quality via get-well plans and milestones.
• Attend receiving inspections and site meetings as requested.
• Prepare detailed trip reports documenting audits and findings.
• Conduct supplier quality audits and supplier site visits.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce vendor defects.
