Job summary

Marvin Engineering Co. in Inglewood, CA is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to ensure production quality by supporting the Business Management System.

You will mentor QE staff, drive corrective actions, and lead continuous improvement across Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Compliance. The role requires 8+ years in aerospace QA, strong knowledge of ISO/ASME/MIL-STD standards, and the ability to interpret technical documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
• 8+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer in aerospace/defense.
• Understanding of aerospace manufacturing and technical documents (blueprints, specs).
• Proficient in interpreting ISO, ASME, MIL-STD, MS standards.
• AS9100 quality management system knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Coach/train quality engineers on projects, RCCA, MRB, contract review, and documentation.
• Lead continuous improvement projects with QE and shop personnel.
• Collaborate with department leads on cross-functional processes.
• Conduct performance reviews for quality engineers.
• Coordinate major customer visits and maintain Quality KPIs.
• Perform Quality Engineering activities as needed.
