Job summary

Marvin Engineering Co. in Inglewood, CA is seeking a QC Inspector to perform thorough product inspections, document results, and ensure compliance with MEC requirements and contractual obligations.

You will inspect mechanical assemblies, review documentation, generate reports in SAP, and collaborate with QC and manufacturing teams. A minimum of one year in inspection and basic blueprint literacy is required, with GD&T knowledge as a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year minimum experience as a QC inspector.
• GD&T knowledge or ASQ topics are a plus.
• Blueprint literacy and basic contract requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to lift 35 lbs. and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent inspections of internal/external components for MEC compliance.
• Visual inspection of assemblies, soldering, and paint finishes per requirements.
• Review NDT and supplier documentation per MEC Purchase Order.
• Generate inspection reports in SAP and document results.
• Identify non-conforming material and issue Quality Notifications (QN).
• Support Receiving and In-Process Inspection and interface with suppliers.
