Job summary

MasTec Renewables is seeking a Project Subcontracts Specialist to administer subcontract agreements for utility-scale solar or wind projects, from mobilization to closeout. You will be the primary onsite commercial contact for subcontractors, interfacing with Project Management, Construction, Procurement, Commercial, and Legal teams to ensure contract compliance and risk mitigation.

The role allows remote work or placement in one of our offices, with 50% travel required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction-related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years administering construction subcontracts on large industrial or energy projects.
• 3+ years field-based contract management experience.
• Experience with subcontract negotiations, change management, and disputes.

Responsibilities

• Administer subcontract agreements from mobilization through project closeout.
• Serve as the primary onsite commercial representative for subcontractors.
• Monitor compliance with contract terms, schedule, and costs.
• Draft and issue notices for performance issues, changes, and disputes.
• Lead subcontract change order processes and review/approve pricing.
• Coordinate with procurement, legal, and project controls for consistency.
