MasTec Renewables seeks a Project Subcontracts Specialist to oversee subcontract administration for utility-scale solar or wind projects. The role is project-site based, ensuring compliance, performance, and timely closeout while collaborating with PM, construction, procurement, and legal teams.

The position requires strong negotiation, risk management, and change-order experience, with travel up to 50% and potential remote or office locations nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent.
• 5+ years administering construction subcontracts on large industrial/renewable projects.
• 3+ years field-based or project-site contract management experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer subcontract agreements from mobilization through closeout.
• Serve as primary onsite commercial representative for subcontractors.
• Monitor compliance with contractual obligations and schedule milestones.
• Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Manage change orders, pricing reviews, and dispute resolution.
• Lead commercial meetings to review progress and risk actions.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Legal, and Project Controls for consistent practices.
