Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Staffing Coordinator for a 32-hour per week, onsite role at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in the Longwood area of Boston, MA. You will work three shifts weekly (two 12-hour and one 8-hour), with a weekend rotation on a seven-day operation.

Responsibilities include coordinating staffing for inpatient units, maintaining time-keeping records, scheduling nursing and support staff, and assisting with payroll.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years related work experience required.
• Advanced skills with Microsoft applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrates day-to-day staffing for PCS by filling vacancies with qualified applicants.
• Maintains time-keeping accuracy; records time worked and time off per payroll system requirements.
• Schedules RNs, patient care workers, unit assistants and patient observers to inpatient units.
• Assists with weekly payroll for Patient Observers and Community Resource Staff.
• Attends daily bed meetings to assign admissions and transfers.
