Job summary

LUX Infusion in Belleville, IL is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to join our clinician-led, U.S.-based infusion care team. You will oversee clinical pharmacy services, sterile compounding, and ensure safe, compliant patient care for specialty infusion therapies.

The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians, nurses, and care teams, reviewing infusion orders, participating in clinical rounds, and driving operational improvements while maintaining USP compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelors of Science in Pharmacy required; PharmD or MS in Pharmacy preferred.
• Current licensure as a Registered Pharmacist in the State of IL.
• Minimum of two years of recent experience in an acute care setting or one year of recent home infusion therapy experience preferred.
• Experience and strong knowledge base in intravenous admixture services and intravenous therapy.
• Ability to evaluate and monitor drug therapy relative to the total needs and clinical conditions of home care patients in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams to provide safe and effective drug therapy.
• Demonstrated ability to problem solve and supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Participation and membership in professional pharmacy societies and organizations preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated dependable attendance and consistent job performance.
