Legends Global is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the Finance team at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. The role involves handling daily accounting tasks, assisting the Director of Finance in financial statements, and performing variance analysis against budgets and prior periods.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Accounting or Finance, 1–2 years of accounting experience, and proficiency with Excel and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance from a four-year college or university.
• 1-2 years of accounting experience preferred or equivalent
• Proficiency with MS Office and ERP accounting software.

Responsabilités

• Maintain fixed asset detail records and perform account analyses.
• Assist in preparation of financial statements and variance analyses.
• Enter A/R and A/P invoices; reconcile GL to aging; record cash receipts and disbursements.
• Record journal entries for projects, revenue recognition, and month-end closing.
• Onboard new hires and review payroll paperwork for accuracy.
• Audit sales reports and inventory per event and support month-end closings.
