Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment is seeking a Full-Time temporary Staff Accountant to work across project, balance sheet, and general ledger accounting for multiple events and properties, including preparation of financial statements and tax work.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 2+ years of accounting experience, with strong Excel and Oracle proficiency, and a flexible schedule to support major projects, including nights and weekends when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 2+ years industry accounting experience.
• Exceptional Microsoft Office skills, particularly with Excel.
• Oracle experience is preferred.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Prepare artist payments to be sent via wire, ACH, or check.
• Manage the payment, tracking, and approval of all property- and show-related invoices.
• Complete month-end close, including preparation of P&L statements, related journal entries, and financial statements.
• Work with the Accounting Manager to ensure all checks and wires are entered and reconciled monthly.
• Work with AP/AR Specialists to ensure all receivables, receipts, and payable items are processed and recorded accurately and on time.
• Prepare and pay all monthly and quarterly taxes.
• Maintain accounting files, provide audit support as needed, and ensure files comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other accounting functions as assigned.
