Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Staff Accountant for the Finance department. The role reports to the Director of Finance and is salaried/exempt. Location is on-site at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, Uniondale, NY.

The position supports financial statements, GL analysis, and revenue recognition with a focus on accuracy and compliance. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a dynamic live-events

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with MS Office and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fixed asset detail records and perform account analysis.
• Assist Director of Finance in preparation of financial statements.
• Perform variance analysis of financial statements to budget and prior periods.
• Enter A/R and A/P invoices; reconcile GL to detail aging.
• Record cash receipts and disbursements; journal entries for projects.
• Record journal entries for revenue recognition and payroll reviews.
