Job summary

CPS, part of the Optum family, is hiring a full-time Specialty Pharmacy Liaison onsite in Connecticut. You will coordinate pharmacy services between patients, providers, and the pharmacy, with focus on prior authorizations, enrollment, and financial assistance.

As a bridge to the CPS Patient Care Services team, you’ll support patients through adherence checks, data entry, and education while collaborating with pharmacists.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy technician registration in Connecticut or ability to obtain one before hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and enroll them into the program.
• Process insurance benefit investigations and prior authorizations.
• Assist with financial aid and patient assistance programs.
• Enter and verify patient information, support therapy adherence.
• Provide outbound patient follow-up and triage clinical questions to staff.
