Job summary

Optum CPS, onsite opportunities in Stamford, CT, seeks a full-time Specialty Pharmacy Liaison to coordinate services between patients, providers, and the pharmacy. You will guide enrollment, perform benefit investigations, and support financial assistance programs while working under a pharmacist's supervision.

You will engage with CPS Patient Care Services, participate in outreach, and contribute to therapy adherence through outbound calls and follow-ups.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be registered as a pharmacy technician in Connecticut or able to obtain registration on or before the date of hire.
• Experience as a pharmacy liaison/technician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients upon arrival at the clinic.
• Explain benefits of the specialty pharmacy and enroll patients.
• Handle insurance benefit investigations and prior authorizations.
• Assist with obtaining financial aid for patients.
• Enter and verify patient information and data orders.
• Provide direct patient support to ensure adherence and therapy goals.
• Triages clinical questions to pharmacist or provider.
• Promote CPS through conferences and workshops.
