Job summary

Stryker Corporation seeks an OnSite Specialist for Columbus, Ohio, full-time, field-based with occasional travel. You will decontaminate and assemble sterile instrumentation, perform in-line tests, and maintain instrument tracking across SPD and OR teams in accordance with IFU and hospital policy.

Ideal candidates have OR experience, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and are prepared to cover shifts across accounts, including on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Experience in operating room; knowledge of anatomy and surgical procedures.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot in high-stress environments and provide cross-account support.
• CRCST certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate and assemble rigid scopes, cameras, light cords, and power instrumentation.
• Perform inline function testing (leak, sharpness, insulation, or power checks).
• Wrap and containerize sets for sterilization per IFU.
• Maintain and update Stryker-managed instrumentation lists with SPD leadership.
• Facilitate repairs, replacements, and instrument tracking per hospital protocols.
• Communicate with SPD and OR leaders regarding equipment readiness and process improvements.
