Job summary

Gemma Power Systems seeks a Solar Project Manager to lead utility-scale solar projects from Notice to Proceed through commissioning. You will own project goals and decisions, and foster strong client, subcontractor, labor, and stakeholder relationships throughout the lifecycle.

The role requires relocation to the project area as assigned and may involve future projects. You will oversee construction activities across civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical scopes, ensuring safety, quality,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of experience with solar power generation or large-scale renewables; EPC experience is a plus.
• Willing to work full-time from the project site in a field-based environment; travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary onsite representative for all project matters and maintain proactive communication with the Owner.
• Oversee all aspects of solar project delivery including civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical scopes and ensure schedules and budget adherence.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise all construction activities; manage subcontractors and procurement; drive commissioning and turnover requirements.
