Job summary

VulnU in El Segundo, CA seeks a Software Security Engineer to secure real-time embedded sensor software and contribute to the development of TDMC-based execution alongside cross-functional engineering teams.

Role requires a STEM degree and 2+ years of experience with C/C++, scripting (Python/Perl), and Agile/Scrum. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD security clearance are required. Onsite position with competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of relevant software experience.
• Experience with C / C and scripting languages like Python, Perl, or similar.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum/Kanban or similar development environment as part of a software team.

Responsibilities

• Implement Software Security principles for embedded software design, development, integration, and testing of real-time sensor software.
• Develop software applications using multiple programming languages on a variety of computing platforms.
• Ensure the SW Product Assurance processes are followed on our programs.
• Understand real-time software design and performance implications of System Security implementations.
• Work with cross-functional Engineering teams to define and implement TDMC-based execution development and deployment requirements.
• Collaborate in a common development environment to enable program ability to leverage specific capabilities.
