Raytheon in McKinney, TX is seeking a Software Security Engineer II to join our onsite team. You will develop security-focused embedded software for real-time sensor systems and collaborate with cross-functional engineering to implement TDMC-based execution requirements.

Responsibilities include integrating security principles, building multi-language software, and ensuring adherence to Software Product Assurance processes across programs. A DoD secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in STEM and at least 2 years of software experience.
• Proficient in C/C++ and scripting languages (Python or Perl).
• Experience in Agile/Scrum or Kanban and RTOS or device-driver work.

Responsibilities

• Develop software for embedded sensor systems on multiple platforms.
• Apply Software Security principles to embedded real-time software design, development, and testing.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define and implement TDMC-based execution requirements.
• Develop applications using multiple programming languages across computing platforms.
• Ensure Software Product Assurance processes are followed on programs.
• Understand real-time software design and performance implications of security implementations.
