THOR Solutions, LLC is seeking a Senior Production Control Specialist to support the USCG Waterways Commerce Cutter PRO in Bayou La Batre, AL. The role involves overseeing ship construction, planning contract actions, and evaluating production status.

The position requires five years of production oversight in shipbuilding, proficiency in MS Project or Primavera, and strong collaboration with USCG and shipyards. Local travel and onsite work are expected.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in production oversight for ship construction.
• Knowledge of ship construction practices and processes.
• Proficiency in scheduling tools such as MS Project or Primavera.
• Experience with contract management and change proposals.
• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide production expertise and oversee PRO ship construction activities.
• Assist in planning, coordinating contract management and cost/schedule trade-offs.
• Review shipyard contract changes and waivers; monitor engineering changes.
• Participate in meetings with USCG, shipbuilders and contractors.
• Conduct on-site reviews and document production status and issues.
