Boston Government Services, LLC in Oak Ridge, TN is seeking a Shift Technical Adviser to support the Y12 National Security Complex. The role focuses on understanding and enforcing the approved safety basis for operations, evaluating changes, and leading cross-functional coordination to maintain compliant, secure facilities.

The position is fully onsite, 40-hour weeks, with responsibilities including troubleshooting, presenting technical briefings, and ensuring changes comply with safety

Qualifications

• Requires BA/BS in engineering or related field with strong understanding of safety bases.
• DOE O 426.2A compliance knowledge or alternative means required.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DOE Q clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise to understand the approved safety basis for operations.
• Evaluate impact of proposed changes/modifications on safe facility operation.
• Troubleshoot and improve issues within operations management scope.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities across multiple interfaces within the facility.
• Present technical briefings describing approved facility operations and compliance methods.
• Ensure changes stay within the scope and methods appropriate for the facility.
• Provide on-call coverage for weekends as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

BA/BS degree in engineering or related scientific major
