Qualifications

• Requires DOE RCT CORE training certification.
• Current HAZWOPER 40 Hr. or 8 Hr. Refresher.
• Associates or higher degree in a technical field with 2–5 years of relevant experience, or HS diploma with 5–12 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs monitoring of personnel, work areas, and items leaving radiological areas.
• Recommends monitoring devices, PPE, and working time for radiological operations.
• Operates radiation detectors, reads data, and records results for reporting.
