Job summary

Episcopal Community Services (ECS) is seeking a Services Coordinator to support Shelter participants with intake, orientation, and daily activities, ensuring a safe and orderly environment across ECS program locations.

The role requires in-person engagement, adherence to confidentiality, and the ability to respond to incidents with professionalism. A High School Diploma or GED and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Six months of customer service experience in a service-focused environment.
• Experience working with homeless populations is preferred.
• Strong reading and writing skills and ethics in social services.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Shelter interior/exterior cleanliness and safety on schedule.
• Inspect facilities for security and program compliance.
• Maintain Shelter Operation Logs and occupancy records.
• Orient participants to Shelter rules and responsibilities.
• Answer inquiries professionally and document interactions in CHANGES.
