Job summary

Episcopal Community Services (ECS) seeks a Services Coordinator to support shelter participants through intake, safety monitoring, and service planning. This in-person role requires engaging clients, maintaining order, and coordinating with case management to connect participants with needed services.

You will orient participants, uphold program rules, document activities, and participate in daily shift changes. The position emphasizes confidentiality, teamwork, and a commitment to ECS’s mission.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Strong communication and ethics in social services are essential.
• Good listening and problem-solving abilities are important.

Responsibilities

• Check exterior of building on a regular schedule to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Conduct wellness checks to ensure security and program compliance.
• Maintain shift reports and logs according to procedure.
• Orient participants to shelter rules and responsibilities.
• Refer participants to case management as needed.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings, even outside regular hours.
• Collect, tag, store, and dispose of client property per policy.
