Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) Mt Laurel, NJ seeks a Resident Engineer to provide post-sales support for service provider routing and switching designs. You will develop expertise on Juniper products deployed for the customer and lead design validation activities.

This onsite role requires proven experience with MX/PTX/ACX platforms, IP/MPLS networks, and automation with Ansible/YAML/PyEZ to implement robust, scalable solutions and collaborate with customer teams to ensure reliable operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years design, implementation, and operations in large IP networks.
• Proficient with JUNOS CLI.
• Extensive experience with MX, PTX, and ACX routing devices.
• Strong knowledge of IP service provider protocols: OSPF, ISIS, BGP, MPLS-TE, RSVP, LDP, IPv6, Routing Policy.
• Experience with VPNs and tunneling technologies (MPLS, L3VPN, VPLS, MVPN).
• Background in automation with Ansible, YAML, and PyEZ.

Responsibilities

• Support design and implementation of provider routing designs for customer networks.
• Perform lab testing and verification of new designs and features.
• Train customer personnel on configuring and operating Juniper products.
• Produce written status reports on design projects and network issues.
