Job summary

Edwards Vacuum is seeking an On-site Service Engineer Team Lead to supervise semi-routine preventative maintenance of critical Edwards equipment at customer sites. You will direct daily operations and serve as the single point of contact for Installation Qualification issues.

Based onsite at Intel customer locations, you will establish procedures, train customer personnel, and coordinate with senior technical experts and project management on special projects.

Qualifications

• AS degree or equivalent in a relevant technical field or 4+ years' related technical experience.
• 5 years related industry experience with demonstrated understanding of the product.
• Knowledge areas: electronic, mechanical, chemical, or gas in the Semiconductor industry preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, prioritizing, multitasking and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs daily operational activities and serves as single point of contact for Installation Qualification related issues.
• Establishes and audits local operating procedures to provide a training aid for Edwards and customer personnel.
• Performs special projects at customer site with supervision as needed from senior technical experts or project management.
• Maintains records of repairs and maintenance and develops a preventive maintenance schedule for equipment.
• Assists with failure analysis by providing information on failure modes.
• Submits information to Edwards technical department to drive equipment improvements.
• Writes weekly/monthly reports on activities performed at a customer site for management.
• Works with Site Lead and Site Manager to ensure 7x24 escalation support for the site team.
• Maintains punctual attendance and collaborates in a team environment.
• Takes direction from supervisor and completes other duties as assigned.
