Job summary

Kelso Building Services in Ogden is looking for two onsite dispatchers. The Dispatcher will coordinate and dispatch Service Technicians to customer locations, manage service calls, and ensure efficient delivery of automation services. Strong communication and multitasking skills are essential for delivering excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of prior experience in dispatching or customer service, preferably in HVAC, and should be able to remain calm in emergency situations. The company offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of prior experience in dispatching or customer service roles, preferably in the HVAC/building automation or construction industries.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to work under pressure, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, basic computer skills.
• Familiarity with building automation controls systems and terminology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch service technicians to customer locations based on service requests and urgency.
• Take customer calls, schedule appointments, and provide information about services, pricing, and scheduling.
• Ensure technicians have the necessary information and resources to complete their tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, appointments, and customer information.
• Optimize routes for technicians to maximize productivity and minimize travel time.
• Address and resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist in preparing reports related to job status, daily activities, and dispatched calls.
• Work with the management team to forecast scheduling needs based on seasonal changes or customer demands.
