Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Service Coordinator to support the Customer Center and coordinate service technicians for industrial compressed air solutions. You will manage customer communications, coordinate scheduling, invoicing, and parts logistics in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, adherence to order management norms, and collaboration with sales and management. On-site Pomona, CA with potential US travel, and opportunities for incentives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 2-3 years of experience in a related field is required.
• Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and working proficiency with handheld computer is required.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming service calls and schedule technicians to perform preventive maintenance and service repairs.
• Guide and develop service technicians, assisting in technical issue resolution.
• Ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
• Manage service inventory and rental fleets (repair status, location, etc.).
• Ensure EH&S adherence in the Customer Center and assist with auditing processes.
• Earn customer loyalty by effectively managing customer interactions and ensuring satisfaction.
• Generate and follow up on service quotes and seek new business where possible.
• Order and receive parts for jobs and monitor shipping/receiving activities.
• Submit warranty claims and ship parts to the factory.
• Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
• Display team effort and be flexible to work overtime/weekends as needed.
